Delaware Tourism Alliance

The Delaware Tourism Alliance is the unified voice and advocate for strategic tourism growth for the benefit of the economic well-being of the state of Delaware and its members.

The DTA was formed by a group of Delaware’s business and community leaders to involve any individuals, corporations or federations that have a vested interest in tourism or related industries. Involving the private sector in the development of local and statewide tourism will allow for a stronger and wider base with which to motivate change and improvement for Delaware’s tourism industry.

Goals
  • Support the collection and communication of valuable data on an ongoing basis that confirms the importance of tourism as a key driver of economic development
  • Educate residents and the legislature on the value of tourism as a means to improve the quality of life in Delaware
  • Establish committees that will promote DTA, its mission, its benefits, its legislative agenda and its future initiatives
  • Work to promote business growth, product development, professional development of its members and to increase their awareness of current trends and business practices
